Entitled Dad demands to be seen at an urgent care for non-urgent issue just seconds before closing, employee shows him the door: 'Entitlement knows no bounds'

It takes a special kind of person to walk into any establishment right before closing and demand service. The worst is when the people coming in at the last minute are coming with company, especially children. It's way easier, of course, for an employee to turn down one person. Turning down a group of screaming children is not quite as simple.

Furthermore, these kinds of interactions give an unfortunate window into the kids' worlds, as they are being raised with such a sense of entitlement that you can practically foresee the thousands of dollars of therapy they are going to have to spend when they mature and realize that the world does not revolve around them.

Now, before we get into the full details of the story, we are sympathetic to the fact that parents of small children cannot predict when they need to step into an urgent care. However, based on the chatty father's behavior when he entered the establishment just before closing, it was clear to the urgent care worker that his needs as well as the needs of his kids were not nearly as urgent as he was making it seem. Besides, most sensible folks know that if it's after 10:00 pm and it's serious, there's always the emergency room…
